There There.

There There follows twelve Native American characters as they travel to the Big Oakland Powwow. All the characters are connected to one another in ways they may not yet realize. They face challenges including depression, alcoholism, unemployment, fetal alcohol syndrome, and living with an "ambiguously nonwhite" ethnic identity in the United States. Together, this chorus of voices tells of the plight of the contemporary urban Native American.
