Tending Nature.

This documentary series and accompanying middle grade science curriculum explores how, for a thousand years, land has provided for Native Americans and how tribal groups have actively shaped and tended the land. The series focuses on how this relationship is important to explore because many natural environments are currently threatened. Through in-person interviews, the series highlights current projects that are trying to solve ongoing environmental problems by integrating traditional knowledge from tribal groups with Western science.
